I'm 26 and I've wanted one since I was 18. Finally decided what I'm getting (a symbol of the Trinity) and it's going to be on the top of my foot.

I heard the foot is a very painful spot. I got my first tattoo about a month ago on my back hip. I love it. It hurt but, take a friend to talk and keep you occupied and BREATHE. Make sure you see him take the needles out of sterilized packaging and destroy them at the end of your session. That is pretty common protocol. The shop should be clean, if the shop isn't clean turn around. Good luck.

Welll...Since youve wanted one for so long its not going to be something youll regret farther down the road. Most people that regret getting tats. are the ones the did it during a drunken binge..lol Just be ready for a little pain. If anyone tells you they dont hurt they are lying. Some places hurt worse than others. Btw I have 3 tats and I love em. Ive never regretted getting them at all and its been almost 12 yrs now. Good Luck!

I've got 8 tattoos-make sure you keep it clean, don't pick it,-(I used "Lubriderm"), keep it out of the sun, swimming pools, & stay sober.-(tattooist won't tattoo drunks)....but good luck.
