just put 2 in the place of x and you've got the price: minus 2 divided by 2=-1 plus 75, that's $74 per unit. Repeat with each number, put 7, then 9 and the rest in the place of x. cheers.

Just substitute the quanity sold (2,or 7 or 9 or 11) into the equation and solve. If x=7
p= -7/2 + 75= 71.50

hey! :) I particular desire you're doing properly. :) properly, your question is one among ordinary substitution! in the eqution, placed each quantity asked (2, 7, 9, 11) the place the X is. So: P = --X/2 + seventy 5 For the quantity 2, P = -- 2/2 + seventy 5 P = -- a million + seventy 5 P = seventy 4 For the quantity 7, P = -- 7/2 + seventy 5 P = -- 3.5 + seventy 5 P = seventy one.5 For the quantity 9, P = -- 9/2 + seventy 5 P = -- 4.5 + seventy 5 P = 70.5 And for the quantity 11, P = -- 11/2 + seventy 5 P = -- 5.5 + seventy 5 P = sixty 9.5 i desire this facilitates and is obvious sufficient. :) stable success, take care and have a great day. :) Cheers! :)

i doubt the above answers since all the prices will be almost equal,my question is 2.,7,9,11are units? what do you mean by quantities ?

I believe that the equation you gave is wrong because if you assume that the quanitities sold is 150 and you substitue the value in the equation you get zero.

-150/2+75=0 ....... how come the price of 150 unit sold equal zero (amount). Please check the equation again and fix your question.
