I visited the Varner-Hogg Plantation, in West Columbia, TX and there was only a historical marker left where the slave cabins used to be, should one be reconstructed as well?

I think it is very interesting to know how the plantations where run, and the slaves where a big part of it. The only thing about reconstructing the building,it will not show how bad they really where, and the conditions that these people where forced to live in.
