I installed a new gas cap, I want to reset the sensor.
Where it is location?

Go to advance auto,,a parts store, can put ur car on a computer and erase the code for u.
Or,,some cars u can take the battery cable off and let it sit for a few minutes to erase the computers memory,then put it back on.

However, you are only assuming that not tightening the gas cap caused 'check engine' light to come on. Toyota mechanic husband strongly suggests you take it to a Toyota mechanic to see what the code is. If it is due to the gas cap, the mechanic .... ooops, pardon me, Service Technician, will be able to clear the code. It shouldn't be more than $100 bucks. Most Auto Parts stores like Pep Boys or Sears or something like that can check it.

THERE ARE PROBABLY 4 OF THEM. GO TO AN AUTO PARTS STORE AND GET THE REPAIR MANUEL FOR THAT CAR. MY BE ABOUT 20 BUCKS. TIGHTEN UP THE GAS CAP

it sensed low vapor pressure in the tank soo it threw a code. go to autozone and they will erase it for you. its harmless trust me you didnt hurt anything
