I'm thankful for my daughter. I could live without anything but her. Today is her birthday! 9-22 and she turns two!!!!! I don't know why I'm so excited... but I am. I'm grateful that I have clothes to wear. I remember when I was in 8th grade and I only had one pair of pants to wear the entire school year. Yeah, we were that poor. I remember being made fun of pretty bad for it too. I'm grateful that I have electricity and running water. I lived in a dump trailer for two years without either one of those things. I'm grateful that I have a home with solid floors. In that trailer you could see the ground thru the vents. I'm grateful I have a home period. And even when I was living in that trailer I was grateful. It was better than no where. I'm grateful I have a car to get around in. The windows don't roll up but hey, it's never let me down when I needed to get somewhere. I'm grateful for my family so I don't have to be alone. I'm grateful for everything God has blessed me with, even when it didn't add up the way I would have had it. If I didn't miss out on anything like I did, I wouldn't know how to be grateful. Life lessons are blessings in disguise, and I am also grateful for those.
