How many licks does it take to get to the centre of a Tootsie Pop?

I believe the experiment conducted by the Wise Old Owl resulted in three licks. Ok, two licks and a bite.

We tried this believe itor not, it took an average of 347 licks to get to the Tootsie Roll center of the Tootsie Pop.
