i don't understand ur question as displayed, so i will make an educated guess that ur question is really does a truck driver MAKE more, as in money, if he owns the truck.
yes and no. as a company driver, he is paid on either a cents per mile base or a percentage of the load, or if he's really lucky, hourly. these three driver pay senarios mean this, he is paid a wage and benefits and has no responsibilities to the truck other than driving it.
if the truck breaks down the cost to repair is not his. he pays no truck payments, no licensing, no fuel tax, no fuel costs, no truck breakdowns, buys no tires, no nothing...he is not responsible 4 the repair or maintenance so his paycheck will be much less.
responsibilities cost money, and owning a truck is more of a responsibility that many imagine.
