*** how can i afford to take a cross-country RV trip ?

my wife and i are planning a trip from florida to california to minnesota to maine to ???????
we have saved some $$$$$$$$$ but need more.
how can i beg, borrow , steal or get some sponsorship to finance this trip ??

Prepare meals before you leave and put them in the fridge in your RV, it will save money on food.

This is a personal trip, you should not expect people to sponsor you.

If you need/want money, beg and borrow from family and friends.

Or, don't go on the trip until you can afford to finance it yourself.

I definitely wouldn't steal. Here are some suggestions to help you and your wife to have an absolutely awesome trip. You could get another job such as a tutor, night shift, piano lessons, or whatever you are good at. If you are extremely desperate and you happen to be really, really gifted in gambling. Then you should. However, I highly wouldn't recommend it because the odds are definitely against anyone. So basically don't risk it. Maybe even invest in some property or do something you love but also makes a decent profit. So basically, think inside and outside of the box. The sky is the limit. :)

Did you join one of those RV clubs that let you park at half price? I used to see RVs park outside Sam's Club and Wal-Mart. Do they still offer parking? How about truck stops? Oftentimes friends and family will put you up for free since you spent the money on gas to come visit.
