YOU COULD CUT 2 SQUARES OF FABRIC. SEW THEN TOGETHER INSIDE OUT LEAVING A SMALL OPENING. TURN RIGHT SIDE OUT AND FILL WITH RICE TO THE THICKNESS THAT YOU WANT. YOU CAN TOP STITCH OR HAND STITCH THE OPENING. TO MAKE THEM PRETTIER, YOU COULD MAKE PIECED QUILT SQUARES OR APPLIQUED PICTURES FOR THE TOP SQUARE.

With no offense and without knowing at all WHY favric covered, certainly the other answers are valid.

CUSTOM is pretty relative in any case regarding crafting something. Why not just unusual Rocks? Railroad ties? Various coffee mugs?

I guess too I have to ask about the reality of the practicality.

Paper weights are actually a pretty archaic thing. Certainly no one should have loose paper adjacent to a powerful fan; BUT not many; I know; have stacks of loose paper laying about that need weighting down either.

Look around the house. I am sure you can find something that no longer works or you don't use and you can recycle it by cutting it down to the right size & shape. It'll make a great conversation pieces too. Good luck. Cheap too.

How about a piece of tile? Check at Lowes or Home Depot, they should have something pretty cheap.

how about a fake brick, you know, that kind that is not really a full brick but just a thin layer
