Spanish is not the only language you could interpret. Do you speak any language other than English? If not, the whole idea of interpretation doesn't make much sense. If so, then you should be fine, unless the classes you are taking in interpretation are specifically for Spanish.

What do you mean by that? Are the classes for Spanish interpreting?

If you speak Spanish but have not had a Spanish class, that shouldn't be a problem, should it?

Or are you suggesting that you want to interpret Spanish but cannot speak it? In that case, why are you taking the interpretation class?

If you are not a native speaker of Spanish or equivalent, then drop the course. Why did you sign up for it.
