How high is your riser? The rise is about 7 feet.

There could be 7 12" risers; 12 7" risers. You get the idea.

A 45 degree angle would mean that the riser and the tread are the same: 7" riser, 7" tread. That is steep, and probably not kosher with the "Code".
However, at 45 degrees, whatever the height of the riser, whatever the total height the stairs ascend to: divide total height by height of the riser, and that is how many risers.

If the question is; how much it raises from the floor a 10 Ft. stairs at 45 degrees de answer is equal to 10 feet divided by the square root of 2 which is 1.4142
That is equal to 7.071 Ft.
