I understand that your house is safe from creditors in Florida, what other states..?

offer the homestead law.

Different states have different homestead exemption amounts that limit what creditors can get. Florida's is the most generous.

Texas and many other states protect the household and work tools (which may include a car) in the event of bankruptcy. That doesn't protect against failure to pay the mortgage on the house.

They found another way to make me lose my house. The dropped mine and son and daughter health care. Unable to pay they are allowed to foreclose.
