It is possible the Canadian dollar will always be stronger from now on, but unlikely.
The U.S. dollar will stabilize when people quit buying all that cheap, imported stuff. Of course, if the labor unions had not demanded so much, American goods would still be competitive.

don't forget the euro has an impact here. and what those overseas think of the dollar. canadians always took a liking too the euro way anyhow. it's these little things that can have a great impact, without anyone really addressing it. look to see sometime in the next 18 months a real move from congress or the white house to urge the fed to cause an impact to favor our dollar. a big urge. the us dollar will probalby not get bigger than the canadian for several years at least, unless their is grave instability in europe.
