I refuse to be any symptom. Auto immune disorders run in the female side of my family, aunt, mom, sister, me. I am not a disease process. I refuse to claim it, give in to it, or make it my identity. I don't want others to look at me & see fibromyalgia, I want them to see me.

I think it is more of a zen thing. I am not attached to my symptoms but I can recognize them as symptoms and know what to do to treat them, or so I think based on where I have been and what I have learned along the way. But, I do take the advise of the wise and powerful mystics from the East who seem to have my best interests at heart.
