and school started like 4 weeks ago, and all of a sudden there talking to me [well not really 'talking' more like b****ing me out] and i cant help but to talk back.

well one of my friends [a real one] told me that they were going to stop when they figured i had better friends than them,

but they arent stopping, they keep randomly saying, 'get a life' or 'get some friends we all know you dont have any'

its really making me upset. i DO have friends and a life, i really am getting to the point that im gonna smack them.

i'd say stick to the 4 friends that believe in you and don't mind the 16! after all, they've already revealed their true color... if they were really your friends... no matter what another girl tells them about you, they wouldn't just believe them that easily without asking you or confronting you..

about those people who throw trash talk at you.. don't mind them.. just ignore them... i know it's hard.. but just ignore them and ignore them... and they'l get tired... keep your head up girl... do things for yourself like go to a salon.. have a spa with your girlfriends.. and dump all those nasty things they say to you... just be look and feel beautiful.. that's it. never mind them...

stick to the four true friends that stood by you... after all.. it's not about the QUANTITY... but what's matters most is the QUALITY of the friendship...

look at the bright side.. it's good that something like this happened.. at least you know who your real friends are.

I'd say you do whatever you can treasure your remaining close friends, those are the ones who are will always be with you no matter what. Close friends won't walk away on you after just hearing one side of the story. You don't even have to act that you care in front of the them, just ignore them, they will find it boring to talk bad s**t about you 1 day.

wow. do you have a problem or what!
the best thing i think you could do is to just ignore them. Stay away from them at all costs.
If you ignore what there saying they'll stop in a couple days or at most 1 week or a week and a half.
If that doesn't work then you might need to tell an adult(yeah its childish but if they keep going on about it then somethins up.)

Yeah, that sucks when that happens. Explain to one person at a a time what happened and turn the perspective around so maybe they'll find out she was the one trying to turn them on you.

When that stuff happens you really find out who your friends are, I mean, those few that stuck with you must be really good friends. :)

Four or five friends is not really so bad. How many do you think you need?

Just ignore the people who haven't proven themselves to be friends and occupy yourself with people who treat you well.
