You figure the high profile two coaches enduring bad years BOTH played in BCS bowls last year.

You CAN fire them and then what?
The high profile schools do not want 'fad' coaches.
I do not want a USC assistant running my team.
I will take Jim Harbaugh in 3-5 years when Lloyd Carr wants to step down.
The I will take Tom Brady in 15 years when Harbaugh wants to step down.

Lloyd Carr has been able to recruit like a MFer.

Carr is seriously the only one in doubt, although I believe if they can beat OSU that he will stay on for a few more years. Bobby Bowden might actually retire, but I doubt it. The other coaches are pretty secure in their jobs, Weis has a 10 year deal, so he is staying put.

Carr might retire, but wont be fired. Weiss wont be out. I think if USC loses, Carroll jumps back to the pros. Other than that, I really don't see any big shockers.
