ok...next weekend is the homecoming for the town that i moved away from a couple months ago. my old girlfriend that thinks i still like her even though i don't (she doesn't know) wants me to go to the dance with her, but i really don't want to considering i don't have those type of feelings for her anymore. i know that if i went, all my old friends would crowd around me and i wouldnt get to be with her at all. i'm always looking forward to going back to see my friends, but this time im not so sure. i don't want to hurt anybodys feelings and i dont want to be sorry about my decision. as the questions says, i need some serious help. what should i do?

I think you should go. It will be fun to see your old friends again. You can have a very nice last date with your gf. You don't have to tell her you don't love her anymore. Just have a good time, laugh, dance, kiss her good night.

You should go and have a good time with your friends. Telling your old girlfriend that you don't like her anymore will most probably ruin her night and yours so you should probably just stay away from her for the night. I don't mean be totally rude and ignore her but just be civil and nice to her if she talks to you.
