(5/9n) - 2 = 2/3n
- 2 = 2/3n - 5/9n
- 2 = 6/9n - 5/9n
- 2 = 1/9n
n = - 18

Answer: n = - 18

Proof:
(5/9[- 18]) - 2 = 2/3(- 18)
- 10 - 2 = - 12

Simple, multiply everything by 9.

5n-18=6n

Then, get all the n's on one side by subtracting 5n from both sides.

-18=n, or n=-18.
