I am not trying to be funny here I am serious, is feminism a facade for unhappy and un-attractive women to get together and share their hatred of all men. Isn't holding "All men" responsible for the actions of "Some men" Just like holding all black people responsible for a few black criminals? or holding all Jews responible because a few german jewish bankers were jerks after WW1? I hope I get one or two logical answers in between all the insults and misandry this is gonna generate.

That's Rush Limbaugh's line--feminism was created for unattractive women. He also made up the word feminazi-he's a real fan of feminists and feminism, and quite an intellectual to boot.

I'm curious, after listing quite a few stereotypes, how many feminists have you seen? I"ve seen hundreds of feminists and they run the gamut from gorgeous to average. So I'm curious where you're getting your info from, one feminist you met, two women you assumed were feminists or stereotypes you've heard?

And what does how you look have to do with your ideals? What do you think socialists, or vegetarians or republicans look like? Should we all be giving "pretty" tests, and only allow the gorgeous people to be feminists, or socialists, or republicans?

FYI: Not just women are feminists, men are too. Do you think they are unhappy, unattractive, and hate men?

And why don't I see happy, pleasant attractive anti-feminists joining with other men and women to hate women? Why are the men and women so weird that protest at pro-choice rallies and marches--I mean dragging around crosses on little wheels? And the spelling on their signs is atrocious.

Wait, so you want to combat generalizations that feminists make about men by...making a generalization about the attractiveness of feminists? Whoops, your argument has malfunctioned! Maybe the only feminists you've noticed have been the militant, "unattractive" ones. Have you asked every single woman you know if she's a feminist? You might be surprised how many "pretty" women would say they are.

And no, most feminists (myself included) don't blame all men for every problem, that's the work of fake straw feminists that make great adversaries in anti-feminist arguments. What we dislike is the systemic disregard for women that's perpetrated by some men and, sadly, by some women (most female genital mutilation is carried out not by men, but by female village elders).

However, I agree with your last additional info: if a woman is going to deny being a feminist in front of men just so they'll like her, she's completely missing the point.

You're completely right. Every attractive female has a burning desire to get find a man and live happily ever after washing his laundry, raising his children, and cooking his meals. These "real women" would also never even consider keeping their own last names. Of course they'd want the whole world to know they "belong" to their husband. Passing on the family name is only important if you are a man. Any woman thinks otherwise "hates all men" and is doomed to a life of celibacy.

They also wouldn't protest if their bosses hired a man and paid him more for doing the exact same job.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I guess to you, assertiveness makes a woman unattractive. It is probably hard to view someone as a sex object when she refuses to act like a doormat.

Just because a woman puts her foot down and tells a man he is being a sexist piglet every now and then does not mean she doesn't love and respect him and many other males.

I would like to think that I am happy and attractive! I remember in college the overwhelming majority of women in my Women's Studies classes were happy and attractive too. Maybe you need to look into what feminism is before you make generalizations about its participants and what feminism is all about. Who ever said that all men and responsible for the actions of some men?

What a lot of nonsense. Many women who are feminist are also very attractive and self confident, and of course feminism is not about 'hating men'.

Feminists have husbands, fathers and sons just like other women. They just hold a different philosophical view of how the world works than you do.

You can't just lump everyone together and say 'oh because they think this they are that', it's just silly!

Cheers :-)

Where the hell do you get your information about feminism from? The trolls here? Do you think we have recruiting stations on street corners? You don't "join" anything - I imagine young women today grow up with the idea and take from it what works for them or not. Boys too. Where people get such untrue ideas about feminism - a political and social philosophy, not a "movement" anymore - beats me. Of course it has pleasant happy attractive believers.

yes, holding some responsible for all is terrible, and not feminism, just anger. However, its just as silly to say all feminist are ugly. Though I think many may be, and they may be the same people who blame all men for some men, I'm a feminst, and I'm pretty. In fact, I might be a feminst because I have delt with learing, whistling and harrasment for so long that I haven't come to hate men, but I have come to respect women for all they go through.

they additionally whinge that girls persons who get divorced and stay as a single discern stay in extra beneficial poverty. curiously we ought to constantly be accountable for their options as quickly as lower back. they are going to in no way admit that their flow has negatively affected women persons with their consistent blaming of each thing on men. they are going to easily blame issues on men extra. they are going to proceed doing this till men finally say that we at the instant are not likely to be solving their subject in spite of how accountable they're for them. the end results of all that's that not in basic terms are destiny generations starting to be further and further delinquent and nihilistic as consequently of not having an excellent male place style around .. which satirically ends up in human beings not being concerned approximately notions of self-sacrifice alongside with chivalry which feminism relies upon on, yet youthful men have not have been given any helpful place to aspire to besides, so what else is there for them to do yet reason a great style of subject? we are seeing this in the upward push of gang subculture and violent crime (quite a number of it against women persons) around the western international. additionally, we are seeing it in the stressful time women persons, quite feminists, get on the cyber web.. Probably because your Idea of "pleasant" is women of low intelligence that pander to your desire to feel superior by tiptoeing around your ego.EDIT I don't hate "all men". Just the ones that need for women to be weak and stupid in order to feel good about themselves.

Beauty is truly in the eye of the beholder. I have always found most the feminist I meet to be more stereotypically feminine in appearance (meaning wearing dresses and whatnot) and more beautiful than so called female anti-feminists.

And again, my narcissistic streak comes alive, I bet I'm better looking than most of the anti-feminists you know. Just sayin'.

Edit: And I don't hold all men accountable for the actions of a few bad apples.
