Forsooth, I had a merrie time at the Renaissance Faire in Arizona only a year and a half ago, in the pryme of my Youthe. The jousting was fun, the Village Idiot was in Fyne Forme, and there were more ways to eat chocolate than you could shake a Sticke at. Huzzah!

Once, and since I was in a traditional 13th century style kilt, the annoying SCA types kept following me around.
I never went again and only wear the kilt to Highland Games.

Lol, yeah, I've been to one. To but it er, nicely, its a cultural experience.
There are all kinds of crazy people running around with capes on, drinking beer and shoving turkey legs down their throats. Plus the occassional "Huzzah!"
Its very entertaining.

YES, those are SOOOO cool! When I was in High School, there was a Faire being held in Azuza, Ca. and, MAN was that so authentic too! I kept feeling like I was "back in that time"!

i was in one in my class. it was awesome since everything was improvised. we had the medici's, henry VIII and and a bunch of other people. i wasnt to go to one again though. they are awesome!the dancing was hilarious.i had to do a proper dance while the jester and the poor people had to run around like crazy.(they frolicked). there were many wenches in the faire. i was writer.
