I was watching that movie "Idiocracy" and in the future everyone seems fat, dumb and lazy in the year 2505. Also, I didn't see anyone over the age of 60, so people are likely not healthy in the future and dying early due to heart disease and diabetes.
So if everyone becomes lazy, bored and apathic, they have no desire to join the military or state their causes or concerns, so no more wars, ever?

Mercenaries could be hired. What could excite people is if someone were to re-build the railroads and force people to give up their cars at gunpoint and force them at gunpoint to use the trains. about all that can be done put it to the people they have two choices either comply on their own or they will be forced to at gunpoint. No doubt that will lead to war but that appears to be the only way to do it since people lack the will to do so themselves

oh yeah, and maybe we should just kill everyone, and then there'll be no more wars, either!
