What's the name of the Noddy series with actual people on it?

I used to watch it when I was younger (90's) but it wasn' tan animation. It had actual people. And if it's any help there was like a jack-in-the-box rat....

it was called simply Noddy. in the series Noddy was an anagram for the name of the shop where their was the Noddy doll. it stood for Notions, Oddity & Do-Dads of Yesterday. a girl found the toy and gave it the name Noddy too because of his nodding head. some of the other toys and objects talked and commented about things happening in the shop but the humans couldn't hear them.
