The witch of the south lives on. She is too smart and sassy not too. And is she good or evil.. sometimes a little of both. Good as gold unless you get between her and her children, or bad mouth her country. She makes biscuits and gravy on Sunday morning (to help get over Saturday night!!) lol She doesn't wear ruby slippers, she wears boots, and have a house fall on her.. no way.. she's smart enough to see that coming. Fly around in a bubble, nu uh, she drives a truck or a big 4x4 SUV!!!

This could get confusing. Glenda is the good witch of the South, in the book, and the good witch of the North in the movie.
