As a woman, statistically speaking, the more educated you are the more likely you are to remain single or become divorced. It stinks, but it's what the numbers show.
Of course, that should not stop any woman from seeking and obtaining whatever level of education she so desires. One day I want to look my daughter in the eye and say "Mommy has a Master's Degree. See, girls can do anything they set their minds to!"

Divorce statistics are high in any case, if he's working, and everything is going good. It could work. Some men are playing the role of Mr. Mom and not working outside the home and have a great marriage because they work at it, although that's not the norm. sometimes u have 2 throw the odds out the window and do what u want.

I don't know the odds. But if 2 people love each other they will stay married for as long as the live. I personally don't think your education has anything to do with true love. But now-a-days people don't seem to take love and marriage seriously so that makes the odds very low for anyone.

My 1st thought is what's it got to do with you?Unless your the educated woman in which case dont marry him if you already have this stupid thought in your head worrying you.
My 2nd thought is how did you become such a snob? lmao
Seriously this question irks me to the highest level , it isnt about the education level's its about love try it you might find yourself in a happier relationship because both world's colliding can cause such a ripple effect its magical to an extent you could never possibly understand.Dont be so nieve.
Marriages dont fail because someone was to lazy to finish high school and get a degree they fail or succeed on how the people entering the marriages love , respect , honour and treat each other , grow up.

1. There are no odds.
2. Statistics are historical numbers, not predictions of the future.
3. The marriage is only as good as the least committed person.

All of that doesnt matter if they truly love eachother. If he treats her well, and she's happy with him. And if it helps, my statistics teacher says the true divorce rate in the u.s.a is only 2%

I give them a 10% chance of success. I believe average is probably around 60% so the outlook for the mismatched couple isn't looking very good

If you are not one of the two - meaning not the woman with a Masters or the man without a HS diploma - butt out! None of your business.
