Yes of course, rock music is better.
If you've got extra money, buy your friend a rock cd's of your favorite bands as a gift to him/her. And told him/her that he/she must listen to them or else your friendship shall be in jeopardy.

Your at that age that thinks you are expected to listen to the music your piers listen too.
You can like and listen to any music you choose.
I like a wide variety. I hate being put in to any group. You should try to be open minded and appreciate your differences. If you find music you both enjoy would be the compromise.

I understand what you're saying because I feel the same way with some of my friends. Unfortunately you can't really control what they like. You shouldn't try to force things on them, but every once in a while maybe play a song you like or talk about one of the bands you like and ask your friend to give it a chance. Maybe tell them why you like the bands you do.

That's what she likes. Maybe she'll outgrow it.
You can't change another person's tastes.
You may trying playing some rock music you like when she's around, but you never know if she'll just ask for High School Musical.

If you were really a good friend, you would respect her right to be different from you and to have her own opinion of things no matter how much you dislike them. The same goes for her though, she has to respect your differences as well. If we all agreed on the same music, same food, same everything, the world would be a very boring place that looked like the inside of some freaky hospital. People who don't allow others to form their own opinion are no different than Hitler or Bin Laden.

I don't think u should push your friend into listening to stuff she doesn't like. I personally like the Disney " crap". Nobody thinks the same person is cute either. Everybody is different and everybody has different point of views. I think you should give her chance.

Rock music is better!! however the rock music you listen to sucks well most of it and is not any better then "Disney crap". And there is probably no way to convince her otherwise that is her taste in music!

thats oppinion. Your friend just doesn't like the same kind of music as you. Thats ok, nothing is "better" than another type of music. people like what they like, and thats that. don't let that ruin your friendship.

Why do you feel the need to change your friend, let her like what she wants to! You can give her your opinion, but apparently she prefers the disney music-that's her preference. If you talk to an opera lover, would you be convinced that opera is "better" than your music?
Let her be!
