this is so stupid man :D

look u figure out the differences between the days like :

day 1 = 0 hot dogs
day 2 = 7 hot dogs
day 3 = 14
day 4 = 21
day 5 = 28

then u sum up 7+14+21+28 = 70

the u subtract 125 - 70 = 55 which is the base line for the days without the increase per day which is = to the first day

Here is the formula you need:

125=X+(X+7)+(X+7+7)+(X+7+7+7)+(X+7+7+7+7).

{the total hot dogs}+day 1 total+day 2 total (which is day 1 +7)+day 3 (day 1+14 or day 2+7), and so on.

Or simplified

125=5x+70

Just subtract & divide like I am sure you were taught in Algebra class and you'll get the correct answer.

But this is the computer section...
