It is not illegal to use Limewire or Limewire Pro. It is illegal to share content protected by copyright laws. It does not matter if it is paid for or free, as long as the rightful owner of the content does not give the persmission it is illegal, Always.

It's never illigal to use Limewire because it's just shareware. It's supposed to be used to share personnal (non-copyrighted) material. It's only get's illegal when you download things that are copyrighted--whether you pay Limewire or not.
So... yes and no depending on what you download.

limewire isnt illegal at all because it is a shared network, you are downloading music from other users, not limewire itself. it IS illegal when you upload music to share with others. so if i were you i wouldnt pay
