Chris B - That's exactly how I feel. I haven't been able to look myself square in the eye in a long time. And sometimes, I think it hurts my confidence. For some reason, I just can't make myself believe that I'm as good looking on the outside as I am on the inside, even though a lot of beautiful women find me attractive.

If anyone checks back and reads this, I would love to hear some suggestions on how to feel more confident about my appearance.

And a special thank you to everyone who answered.

I'll take that from both perspectives. The last time I liked what I saw from a purely egotistical standpoint was a few years ago. Conversely, I have never looked into a mirror and not been able to look myself square in the eye. I may not look as good as I once did but I can always look at me and say..."It's been a great day. You've helped the world be a better place in some small way." Looks fade, character doesn't if you don't let it!

Before I had children! I was like 60 lbs smaller, since I have gotten married and had children I have gained so much weight that I hate looking in the mirror! I still get myself dressed, do my makeup and hair, but I would love to loose the weight! I just spent a lot of money on a Bowflex and I have been really cutting back on the calories so hopefully the weight will come off soon enough! I've already lost 8 lbs in the last 2 weeks! GO ME!!!

I'm not being evasive but it depends on which mirror and how I place my head, lol. Full Length mirror, no way, not since before I had kids (about 4 yrs ago). But I'm working on steps to remedy that :)

This morning, I saw the reflection of my new red towels :)

Pamper yourself, dress up, try on new outfits, look at yourself in the mirror until your ready to face the day. Nobody admits to it..but everyone secretly model themselves in mirrors....lol

This afternoon, when I washed my hands. I have an engaging smile and lovely golden eyes. My skin is clear and my facial features are well-proportioned. What's not to like?

Like one day ago, sometimes I like what I see and sometimes I don't, it's weird.xD It's like I'm looking at a different person sometimes.
