Kettle corn is wonderful, but you can't beat the popcorn you get in the movie theaters.

Yellow kernel corn on my stove top in a big cast iron pot with a lid that doesn't fit but we've always used it anyway, with just enough canola oil on the bottom to keep it from burning, and just enough salt to bring out the natural sweetness in the corn, enjoyed in front of a movie with my children on either side of me, and we're all quiet because the popcorn's so darn good, and that's the best mess I've ever loved cleaning up after that.

well, while I prefer it popped at home in a kettle, dashed with some of that orange stuff and soaked with melted butter, I just go for the microwave butter lovers by Act II
