I am heading to San Diego for a week. Any advice on attractions, resturants, or lodging? I will be near the Convention Center for a few days and then free to roam. Thanks in advance!

When are you going to be in town? There's TONS to do here. Cahrgers games, Padres games, Sea World, Balboa Park, TONS of museums, Old Town, bars and bars and bars, lots of beaches, the zoo, the wild animal park, Mexico....easily enough to occupy a week.

Take a ride up the coast on Hwy 1 It goes through some cool towns. Lots of shops and places to eat.
Just dont go around 5 pm the traffice is horrible.
go in the morning or later in the day. Sunsets are beautiful on the beach
