I have a metal plate and a bunch of screws in my left forearm--nasty bicycle wreck when I was thirteen.

I have 3 Metal Plates in my arm, It got ran over by a car. = p

I broke my shoulder last year in a motorcycle accident
I had surgery and they inserted a metal plate and several screws. I was quite shocked by the size of the plate and screws on the x-ray.
Thought I would set off the metal detectors at the airport but I don't!

My right leg from my knee past my ankle is all metal. Several plates and 14 screws.

I have metal staples in my abdomen from abdominal surgery. That was about 2 and a half years ago.

Yes, I have a titanium bar in my chest.
That left quite a nasty scar.
I had surgery at the end of June.
But all is well. =]
