First of all, I don't believe in luck. I think that some things require hard work and some things don't. What ever happens in life is the direct result of the decisions that you make.

Once upon a time there was a King of a nation who was at war with another nation. The success of is nation depended on the use of a spy agent who could get a message to a person on the opposing side and turn the tide of battle to the king's advantage.

The king's general presented him with information on the best spy agent in the kingdom. The general told the king that the man was the fastest runner, most skilled fighter, multi-lingust, master of disguise, and the top agent in any nation known.

The king said that is fine, but is he lucky?

You can beat skill, but you cannot beat luck.

Luck is what catapults you to the top, hard work is what makes you stay there. Luck doesn't last, hard work does. I think both are important but if you're going to ask me to pick one I'd rather go for hard work. Because imagine what happens when luck runs out... :)

Luck is divine order. Your chosen gifts which are available for those you are on their chosen path.

Hard work can sometimes be in vain. If it was not meant to be yours, your life will go down a chaotic path and still be left in void.

Luck is the result of hard work.

The harder and smarter you work, the luckier you get.

It may take time for the right thing to happen, but eventually - if you're patient - it will inevitably happen.
