No, that idea is foreign to them. However, if they would ever stop taxing the daylights out of our major contributors to this country's economy, they would figure out why those major contributors keep LEAVING for greener pastures. Or not. It doesn't seem to me like the liberal democretins are that bright.

Yes I do.It's called the Laffer curve. There is also a point that tax cuts are too deep and don't help the economy-if you believe the theory and understand supply side economics. I also understand that spending cuts must accompany tax cuts-that is pretty basic, too, and that is the problem Greenspan had with Bush. They shut him up quickly, but the book is out there. Bush doesn't understand economics-he got a C-
By the way Keynesian economics uses government spending to spur the economy-do you think Bush is doing that?

Funny thing about the so-called fiscal conservatives. If you look at the national debt. The two Bush I and II presidencies are responsible for about fifty percent of it. IF you add in Reagan, it comes to about seventy percent of the national debt being attributed to the fiscal conservatives. So where does this myth com from?

You ever care to look at the tax 'scale'?
The more money you make, the higher percentage you pay in taxes.
And whats wrong with that?
If you are a CEO making 11m a year, why should you pay the same percentage as someone making 100,000 a year?
We should tax the rich more, tax the poor less, and to hell if the rich complain. They can afford it.

Yes. Do Republicans realize that Americans enjoy the lowest taxes in the world? We're nowhere near that point. Stop whining about taxation, and quit borrowing when we don't need to!

Taxation will be gone when the Muslims take over. They will make us pay their holy tax. I will move to Israel before that happens. At least they allow prostitutes.

Yes. But how else will we pay for Bush's war? He's added more to our deficiet than ANY president in history.....
I'd rather " tax and spend " than " tax and owe ". At least we don't have to worry about paying the interest on our 9 TRILLION dollar debt if we pay our way.
