Hello,
First, I urge you to consider the expense (even if you get on rent subsidy) of living on your own in America today. If your parents are normal people and they love and care about you, I strongly suggest that you to stay with them. If you work and go to school, they can help with the baby. You can save your money and plan for a real and bright financial future.
But, if your parents are abusive and you must get out, then contact local social services office (the place you would sign up for welfare and food stamps). These types of programs aren't generous, but they do give women with children priority.
But again, I urge you to stay with your parents and lean on them for support. Remember you are their baby and they will help you. If you play your cards right, you could have a wonderful future ahead of you with a great job, a college degree, a nice house that you can afford to pay for yourself, or you could be struggling to make ends meet living on your own with minimal resources. Good luck:)

There is nothing wrong with using gov't help, it is there for a reason and you and your boyfriend will be paying it back through taxes, and once you start working, taxes come out to help. So "F" what any idoits think. I'm in college and raising two kids, my situation is a bit different but I"m living in section 8 housing and do get some assistance, I'm not proud of it but around here unless you have a college degree you can't work anywhere, that pays enough to climb out of the hole so tospeak, so I'm in school again. and well its just the way things are. I live in VA so I don't know about the boston area but ...You will have to reapply again for WIC once you move. I would check into any type of student housing, some college do offer "family" housing off campus and you might be able to get some help there, If not contact the housing authoirty in the area yo uare moving to and explain your sitation they may even be able to send you applications to get on the waiting list. Also ask the school about oncampus or close to campus daycare, several daycare probviders in this area will advitize on campus (you aren't he only on in this sitauion :) ). Also contact the soical service dept in the area and let them know the sitaion and see if there is anything you can apply for before you move. Good luck and don't you or your BF give up on your alls dreams :)

There are many grants and programs available to students to purchase books as well as lodging. You have to be smart enough to look them up on the Internet and then apply for them.
You also have counselors on the campus that will assist you in the competition of the grant applications.
I find that most students either don't have the time or take the time to find the grants and them fail to complete them.
Each year there are many grants that are left on the table and the money is not used.
I hope this has been of some use to you, good luck.

Stay with your parents if they let you. Moving out now may result in you being a "single young mom". And that won't be any good at all. Stay in school, keep working, and don't worry about being out on your own - there's very little to be gained by it and alot to risk.

Unfortunately , there are 10s of thousands of young single girls out there .
They usually end up looking in the share rental sections .
Very few young people make enough to have their own apartments .
Check the share rentals and rooms for rent listings .
