They know what they want and who they are and they won't settle for less. They take action. They do their research, learn from others and apply it to their success. They are able to comprehend that it's not going to be easy and no matter what they will not give up.They are willing to put their pride aside to get what they need. They learn from their mistakes.
They don't doubt themselves. They have their mind-set and only focus.
Unsuccessful only means unwilling.
Not that they don't get discourage from time to time and feel like quitting. Not that they don't have problems like the rest of us. They just don't give up.
I think it's either that or they are really lucky and blessed and it is really easy to get what they want.

Well, having been around for 53 years, this is the way I see it. Ninety percent of your life will be shaped by the decisions that you make--by the long-term consequences and by the short-term consequences of YOUR choices.

Unsuccessful people blame their problems on others, whine a lot, and feel sorry for themselves.

By doing that, they create negativity around themselves and waste a lot of time.

Successful people see themselves as the masters of their fate, and keep trying to get what they want.

They have a clear idea of what they want, and they visualize positive outcomes.

And they keep doing that despite difficulties, failures, and obstacles.

And, as the person above says, you're only a failure when you give up. You're not a failure if you're still trying.

They have strong-will, determination, and perseverance. Unsuccessful only means that you have given up. If you are still trying, then you are not unsuccessful because you're still making progress and you are determined to progress further into a successful life.

They try harder through self-discipline. You have to motivate yourself to a point until it becomes a way of life. I don't know about balancing the world on one finger though. That's kind of stretching things a bit.
