Rodney Dangerfield I think was the funniest and he helped many of the others get their starts allowing them to perform in his own comedy club such as Jerry Seinfeld and Jeff Foxworthy and many others . I think those listed would agree .

From that list? Carlin, hands down. Lewis and Seinfeld are funny. I'm lukewarm on Dangerfield. Quinn's a turnip, and Foxworthy is a base, illiterate opportunist.
