and thrid- if you THINK he likes you, tell him. if not then dont say anything. because honestly, getting rejected at 11 just isn't right.

You are too young to be feeling 'sparks' toward a boy! You should be building friendships...... A good friend is priceless! You can not trust your emotions at this age - at most any age for that matter. Just slow down and give yourself some time to grow up. You've got to get through highschool and college (I hope), you need to focus. Hopefully, this young man has decided to not have a girlfriend at such a young age. One day, you know, he may be a husband and a father, and he'll have to have an education to provide for his family. You must look beyond the 'now' and realize you will have responsibilities when you get older. So you should prepare for them now. Just build friendships. A lot of kids have no friends - it's very lonely. You need to try to be a friend and have friends to make it in this world.

Tell him you would like to get to know him better and be his friend. Friends first is the best thing anyway, as you get to know each other slowly. I never even thought of boys at 11. My mother told me I couldn't date until I was 16 and even then I was not ready. I wasn't ready until about 18. Boys mature at different levels and you get all sorts of mixed signals from them. Just be his friend and I am sure he doesn't hate you. He is a boy and doesn't really know what he wants at that age.

Are you sure your mother approve of you on the internet asking relationship questions??? I know my mom would have kicked my behind.
I really think you need to let this pass. It doesnt sound too promising. But if you feel the need to tell him just be straight up and talk from your heart.

I like the way you say Disrespectful. But write him a note. And tell him to circle yes or no and don't be mean about it. It is better than putting yourself on the spot and everyone witnessing it

Awwww, well I wish I could help, but if he doesn't like you then he doesn't like you. You just need to tell him you like him again, and if he says he only likes you as a friend again then you know the answer.
