I was at cheerleading practice lastnight and I injured my knee severely in a stunt/mount. It was about 30 minutes out of 2 hours into practice. I was out for the rest of practice. I was allowed one bag of ice by the coaches (2) and I was not allowed to call my mother to even pick me up at the end of practice. I could not and still cant put anypressure on it. I am on crutches as of this morning. They filled out an accident form due to league rules. THey didnt call my mom, they didnt send home a copy of the form they filled out, NOTHING! So I am sure I either broke, badly sprained, or tore a ligiment and am currently demobilized. Isnt all that illegal?? Child abuse???

Speak to an attorney right away. Failure to transport to the hospital immediately put your health in peril, and may have rendered you permanently disabled. Correctly handled, you'll clear enough to pay for a 4-year private university education.

Your coaches should be fired! Because the first thing they should have done is call your parents if you are a minor so it that case yes it is child abuse or at least I think it is you should hire a lawyer because you could have been left cripple for not getting immediate medical attention.

That is not child abuse.

You will need to see a dr to determine what type of injury you have. There's a really big difference from a brake and a sprain.

the school should have called a ambulants, and pad all hospital bills if it happened an school grounds. IF u asks for help and didn't receive it than u have a good case.

They don't seem to have full filled their "duty of care." I would have thought they should have taken you for an x-ray at least.
