I woke up in bed in Norway to find a large entity sitting on my chest and arms. it was sort of transparent but looked like a large troll type creature and had a number of much smaller accomplishes which seemed to be laughing looking in from outside. I struggled with the thing from 0237 till 0438 when I finally got an arm loose. I know this because I could see my bedside clock. It then legged it and I searched the house to no avail. I was physically drained for two days afterwards (no I had not be on the hjembrand(moonshine)that night).

I have had one more experience of a similiar creature in North Wales but knowing now how to deal with it I managed to get it off me in 20 minutes.

I have actually read about people who had similar experiences, but in their cases it was a old lady or something.

I can't remember exactly ,but it has something to do with vivid nightmares and the fact that technically you are still asleep, (which is why you can't move), yet you feel like you are wide awake

**found something similar**

I have had similar experiences as a child, many times,, but a few years ago , I was sleeping peacefully when I awoke with a feeling that I was being suffocated, I "looked up" and saw an old wizened man on the bed he disappeared immediatetly but the indentations he made remained. I wasa awake immediately I looked out of the window and saw tthat 3 foxes, were after my hens, I was so shocked at the whole thing I did not think what I was doing I leaned out of the window and screamed "FOX" they ran away and to this day I am reminded of this from who knows what

Yes and no. What you're talking about sounds like a very real combination of sleep paralysis and a vivid imagination, and I've had that happen a few times. It's pretty scary, but there's a perfectly rational explanation for it. Sometimes what happens when you're sleeping is that your brain goes into a weird state where your mind is more-or-less conscious, but the part of your brain that controls all your motor functions is still completely asleep. The result is that you can open your eyes slightly and look around a bit and are able to think, but you can barely move anything else (if at all). You are also unable to control your breathing, and as you start getting frightened by the whole experience your heart starts racing. But because you're unable to breath faster to allow your respiration to keep up with your increased heart rate, you start experiencing a painful sensation of a weight on your chest as your lungs run low on oxygen. As for the presence of the troll-type creature, the probable explanation for that is that your mind was drifting in a semi-dreamlike state where your subconscious conjured up that image as you were struggling to wake up and start moving. It's similar to where I've had dreams where I'd get suddenly woken up out of a deep sleep, and for a few seconds i could still see the image from my dream vividly right in front of me with my eyes fully open before it started to fade away. Trust me, you don't have a demon haunting you but it's freaky just the same.

Yes, I have. Frequently.

They're called Hags, Night Mares, nightmares and Maras. These figure prominently in a number of traditions all over the place, and there are connections with the legend of cats being able to steal the life force out of someone by sipping at the breath of a sleeper.

And yeah ... I live in North Wales, so who knows? Maybe you and I have enountered the exact same entity.

Umm...you don't need to be Christian to tell it to go away. I've been attacked by all sorts of things and made them leave. No, I'm not christian either. Just spiritual. :)
Anyway, sounds like you had a lovely friend there. If something like that happens again, learn to tell it to leave. Surround yourself with white light before you go to bed and ask for protection against such things. If you do happen to try the white light visualization (there's millions of sites about it on the web) make sure that you KNOW that nothing can some in unless it's for your highest good. Thinking it will work leaves doubt. Knowing that it will work ensures success.
I was once laying on my stomach in bed. I hadn't fallen asleep, but it felt like someone was pushing me into my bed. I struggled a bit, but you can get rid of them. If you believe in angels (they are not just a christian thing!) ask them to help you or take away this negative entity. They will help when you ask!

I think you have a sleeping problem---This is natural especially when you in a different country, you just imagined it

If that ever happened to me, I would start fighting, I dont care what it is---Thats the attitude I have so I never imagine it and that way the fear goes away. Only for me I was always scarred that I would imagine aliens are in the room. ANd if they were I would just start fighting them and then come to the conclusion that they were in my imagination because nothing was there.

I remember one time I was sleeping, and I couldnt move when I woke up, but what i did is I tried to call for my mom (but I didnt have a voice) and then I reached up for the ceiling with one hand as if I were reaching to God and I managed to do that. After that I was okay, but I was scarred as hell.

Not in a violent manner as you described, but I have had similar experiences with non-human, non-animal entities, which I could feel, touch, and were deffinately there, in a human-shaped form. Contact with the paranormal is not a sign of mental illness, it's a sign of a spiritual person.

The experience you are having is usually caused by sleeping on your back. I had similar experiences too. Doesn't it feel so weird not being able to move your body at all?
The best thing for you to do is to remember to relax when it happens again. When you relax, you are able to control your body functions again.
I think what is happening is that you are having an out of body experience. As for the creepy things I believe they are real but from another dimension.

This happened to both my father and myself, a year apart, in a rented bungalow in West Moors, Dorset. There was definitely something very heavy sitting on my chest which I could not move. I could not see anything at all though. The experience was very unnerving.

Yes, every morning I wake to find my cat sitting on my chest. And he gets larger every day. The accompanying picture is him when he was twelve weeks old.
One time I was in Malaysia and I remember trying to wake up, but there was this gigantic weight on me, it was like I was under about ten feet of mud. It took me a good five minutes to rise to the surface.

I experienced the same thing when I lived in Alaska. I smoked way too much Matanuska Thunderfuck Weed and could not get up off of the bed in the morning. It felt like 2000 pounds sitting on me. I have since named it the "Marijuana Demon", but you can call him "Tim".
