Kings place Cloutier on waivers. Do you think a team will be daring enough to pick him up?

Columbus.

They are in need of an average goaltender.

I was in shock when i saw it earlier today. In the article it says that Cloutier was in the running for the starter in L.A. Apparently Johnathan Bernier was too much for Cloutier to compete with.

The Lightning might pick him up again as well. I still don't think Denis is starter material, and Cloutier has the experience in that role.

Mr. Can not stop a shot from the Red Line in a 2002 playoff game will most likely be spending the rest of his professional career in a minor league capacity.

Cloutier can not get it done and if a GM signed him what message would that send to the players and fans; that we have all ready conceded to defeat and this year doesn't matter. If that is the case why not go with a younger goalie anyways at least you looking at the future and not just pretending to be competitive

If the Ducks were to trade Bryzgalov (sorry Jenni) then they might be a front runner. I am saying this considering Brian Burke's feeling for the guy, he stuck up for him for years in Vancouver for some strange reason. He also has history with obtaining guys he previously had like Bertuzzi.

The Sieve should get a job at Toys r Us and sell beachballs.

ps CBJ

**That's what I'm afraid of Bob, I know Burke has a blue veiner for The Sieve..why who knows maybe he has a brain cloud..

No on in their right mind will pick him up. He's not even worth being a backup. He's a proven failure. Jeez, how many chances has this guy gotten? He's simply never going to be anything but a glorified minor-leaguer.
