Hi,
If it's FREE it shouldn't cost me anything! If it did come free, whatever it was, I would still question it because there's no such thing in this life as a free lunch! Somewhere, somehow, some time, there will be strings attached.
No, I wouldn't sell out or buy in for a free anything. It sounds too much like it's not legal or moral. I prefer to earn my way and stick to my principles.

If it's free then you never had to buy whatever it is that you desire in the first place.
And if you sell this desire it's up to you to believe or not the others who call you a sell-out.

We all do that all the time. You sell out of anything that does not match your values and buy into what does. Your fee is others agreement with what YOU believe to be right.

It is selfish and petty and it is common.

No. I have my own set of standards and beliefs and they're simply not up for sale. And I know that's cost me a bit in my life.
