Obviously, at 14, you two are growing apart. Find something to do for yourself--hobby, interest, other friends--and stay awa y from the drugs.

Perhaps your friend is growing up and out! It sounds like your life has been a bit shallow. Maybe she has figured out that just 'hanging out' and 'smoking a little weed' is immature and empty. There is more to life than that. Why don't you get interested in some of the clubs at school or get in band, or some activity. Look around you, there are kids who are doing things fun and learning important things. Don't you think it's time that you settle down and take school seriously and try to have something to offer as a humanbeing.

Maybe you did or said something that upset her. It could have been something really small, but she is holding a grudge. Just talk to her about it. Be like, "hey, i've noticed that you have sort of been ignoring me or avoiding me. Did I do something wrong?" . Hopefully she will tell you.

If not, make some new friends. She obviously doesn't care anymore about your friendship. You don't need to be friends with someone that is not being "friendly" toward you. What is the point? Find a new bff.

I have this almost exact (but not the same) relationship with my friend. She is being mean. I don't get it. I think it is because they are confused and going through stages. The key is to just keep in touch but not annoy her at all, when she is through being a bi*tchy friend, hopefullly she will come back to you and you can continue your friendship. I know this is extremely difficult, just hang in there, all friendships have to take test, and this is one of those times. I know it sux. Good luck, i really hope she comes to your senses, and i know i didn't help alot, but good luck!

wow.... this once happend to me but the name will remain anonymous but anyway she got popular or watever and left me in the dust and for a while i had no1 to tell my deepest most inner thoughts, ask questions, lean on and i began to bottle up everything and became depressed and i actually felt some hatred towards her for abandoning me. but then my present bff came and now weve been bff for years. i luv her to death and we couldnt be any more alike. I just hope your bbf (bitchy best friend lol) gets what she deserves whether its you tellin her off her her fallin off her pedistool. its never any fun being bestfriend less. Feel free to talk to me on my email if you wanna talk some more and good luck with the friend situation.

ehh same thing happened to me. My best friend kinda "cut me off" for some reason. Anyways i was like **** you (in my head ofcourse), and stopped talking to him. Then he starts a conversation with me again in a few days lol. Whatever, we're still friends, but not "best friends". Im 16 btw.

Best friends change. You need to move on and get other friends. Sorry but things like that happen all the time. We grow up and change friends. That life..
