Salt goes without saying, but lots of freshly ground black pepper can transform a meal. I also love strong English mustard and really good horseradish sauce. Just to stray off the subject slightly, extra mature Cheddar cheese and horseradish, makes for a wonderful sandwich filling. Yummy !

Malt Vinegar.
