That I will wake up tomorrow (My whole life is based on that faith, otherwise, I wouldn't put money in a bank account), that my family will love me tomorrow (not blind faith, but faith nonetheless), and that my dog trusts me absolutely.
I also have faith that the basic laws of physics will always apply, and that I will never, ever, like pickles.

Anyone who bases a belief on something without proof is an idiot. There has to be proof, otherwise you just waste your time.
Even with religion, there is abundant proof that there is a God in control of everything. Just look at the laws of physics, the laws that govern the universe in clockwork precision, or the abundance and complexity of life and all its systems. There is just no way that all that came about by pure chance.
The laptop has a designer, so why does everyone insist that the designer of the laptop dosn't also have a designer. The laptop did not just create itself.
Ok, this is turning into a rant, so I will shut up now. No offence intended.

People have faith in each other. People have faith that their spouses won't cheat on them, or that their children will make great contributions to society or that people they trust are truthful and so on. Without a certain degree of faith, albeit irrational faith, in each other, humans would be much too paranoid and fearful of each to function as a society.

That science will continue. Can we really KNOW that tomarrow will have the same laws of physics as today and the past? Do we KNOW that tomarrow will even come? We can just make an educated GUESS that it will, because it has in the past.
