Generally how much is the water bill going to be??

We are moving in to a house (in WA state) from a place where we didnt pay the water bill so we are just curious how much about everyone else's bills are. Also, does it vary by where you live?

Call the water company that services the house.

Then ask them what the average water usage and bill was for the last 12 mos.

They shouldn't have any reason not to provide you that info.

If it's metered then obviously it will be determined on how many people you have and how much time you spend at home, you landscaping.
Go off the last years usage and expect to pay less if your family is smaller.

No way to tell. Call the utility company and ask what the prior billings were. I've paid as little as $14.00 a month and as much as $125.00 a month for water.

I think it does vary by where you live because here in california we pay $70 for water and sewer service and we have a house in texas and we paid $110 in one bill and $79 in another bill and that's just for water. but I find that water is the priciest bill. good luck.
