I have to keep my memories neatly tucked away, at least thats what my counselor tells me to do, but only during visiting hours.

Nope, I'm an everything-out type of person. I have family photos on the wall, a quilt that my grandmother made is hanging in the bedroom and other memorabilia scattered all over. On the bathroom counter is a pretty jar filled with sea glass that I gathered on the Isle of Skye. Books fill the shelves in most rooms and just seeing the titles on the spine brings back memories of that story and my enjoyment of it.
I love surrounding myself with memories.

No - They pop out at sometimes in the most in-opportune moments.
If I could neatly tuck them away, I think I would probably avoid that.
I would probably forget where I may have tucked them.

Yes,there were some packed away in a box, but they are gone now....
but, I still have memories the ones I ho0ld nearest and dearest in my heart, they make me smile when everything else is getting the better of me. Sometimes I share them to make others smile.
LOL...had a friend who buried his .... think the worms ate em!

i get bored very quickly so i take out my memories and work them over in my mind to see what would have happened if ive made different choices and what would have been the consequences of the choices made by people affected by mine. very entertaining pastime.

I have a scrapbook for all of my travel pictures and memorabilia and a nice pink hatbox that I use as a memory box for my boyfriend and I.

it is a private difficulty that's stressful to over come because it is as much as you to convicne your mom to assist you to hold that stuff.... ermmm i dont comprehend merely shop scuffling with the arguments and with a bit of luck sometime your mom will understand

some are too painfull to remeber.but if i forget them, they will come back with greater pain.i am alocked up like a safe,[but memories are not money]

That's impossible. Like little kittens they climb and move all over me. Sometimes i giggle, touching their fuzzy fur; and sometimes, ouch! it hurts. They naughtily scratch.
