You could still dress her up and walk around the neighborhood with her, but you and Daddy will end up eating the candy.

I think 3 is the appropriate age. Under 3 the candy is for you and not your child. They are also too young to know what is going on. If you want to put them in a costume and have people see them then visit family and friends the weekend before and have them wear it.

Well, my baby will be 2 1/2 months or so by Halloween....I would like to take her if I can manage inbetween feedings or feeding her in her sling....but, I also have four older step kids, so I'd be going with them (and my hubby hopefully if hes not working). otherwise it really wouldnt make sense to bring her out, ya know? maybe what you could do, this would be fun...get her a costume and greet the trick o treaters at your house...that way you can still have fun with the holiday and baby, but not needlessly taking her out. :) (i plan on dressing up my baby too).

Last year my baby was 2 monthes old at Halloween. I took him along with my 9 year old son and some friends. My suggestion would be to make it a party and go with a group of people. After the venture, have hot choco or apple cidar and have the other children go through their candy to make sure it is safe.

I wouldn't take her as she is too little to even enjoy the fruits of mommy saying Trick or treat for her. I would definately take her next year though and make sure you take lots of pictures!

Obviously, she is not going to eat the candy... but taking her out to a few friend's houses and showing her off is fun and makes for some good photos!

I went trick or treating for the first time when I was one. (If I went when I had my first oppurtunity to, I'd only be three weeks old, about).

That's too young. I'd go for the first time when she's about 3 or 4. But, you can still dress her up and take pictures!!

Yes. Great time for pictures, dress up, visit the close neighbors. Don't go far and don't take too long.
