I saw a couple of things that I like and was wondering if someone might have a current book for pricing. I like the Sparkle Light Christmas Tree and would like prices on candles - tealights, tarts, pillars. Anything will help.

If you haven't done so, definately let the hostess know that you can't make it. And while you are cancelling your invite, ask her if she can save a brochure so that you can put in an order. Or, if you've seen something you already like, let her know what you want so that she can put the order in for you.

You shouldn't have a problem doing so because with parties like these, there are usually gifts for the hostess if she collects so many orders and the more orders taken from the party, the bigger the commission check for the Partylite Consultant.

The reason I know this is because my mother used to sell Princess House Crystal. She would always give her hostesses a week extra after the party to collect orders from invites that couldn't make the party. Not only did she make lots of friends, but she also had very loyal customers.

They are over priced and loose their smell fast. Dont waste your money on the candles- they arent worth it. Get Yankee Candles or White Barn Candles- they are cheaper and much more fragrant. I know that the tealights are around $8 a dozen, and they just go up from there. I like the candle holders and the other things though.

Usually the hostess gets some books before the party to pass out to people who can't make it. Ask your hostess for a book and call her with your order. She will get the points for it then.
