Why do people always ask why Blacks call each other the N word, and they can't? Why do you want to? Why do women call each other ***** on a daily bases, but don't want guys to call them the name....same thing?
They have their reasons that we may not understand. Some think it is a control thing to try and erase the true meaning of the word. Yes, I hate the word and would never use it, but the bigger question is why are so many White teens, Mexican teens and other Non-Blacks calling each other the N word on a daily bases. I can't think of any reason why they are doing this?

It's stupid...
I don't use the N word but many blacks that I know do. They use it as a term of endearment, which I guess is ok because blacks switched it around.
I don't understand why non-blacks would even use that word, especially the white kids that do, if I were white I would never want to be reminded of the horrid things my ancestors did.

I read an article about the N word in Ebony magazine, and one man put it best as to why black people can say it and white people can't:
If you're playing a sport, let's say basketball, with your friends, it's pretty much a given that someone is going to say something like "Wow, what a terrible jumpshot!" or something. Being that you're friends, you see no harm in it because that's what friends do. But the second another team shows up and starts to tell you how bad your game is, you will get offended.
Some words are only acceptable when used by certain groups of people.

I wonder the same thing. How petty for them to stoop so low as to whine about not being able to say the "n" word. They want a WET, they want a White History Month, they want to say the "n" word. What's next? I mean, do they realize how ridiculous they're being? How ridiculous is it that they even WANT those things?
The saddest part about it is if blacks didn't call each other the "n" word and there was no BET or Black History Month, whites wouldn't want any either.
It's quite childish.

i'm 0.5 Black, and in my opinion, i think that no person would desire to be allowed to apply it. there is not any thank you to instruct a demeaning observe such because of the fact the n-observe right into a term of endearment for individuals of your own race. organic lack of information.

Idk why, but white people don't call each other crackers and honkeys on a daily basis. I don't use the n-word on anyone.

It's because black people think that only they should be allowed to use a word that downgrades blacks. I don't want to call any blacks the "N" word, but it's stupid that they go around calling themselves that all the time.
