well you could hire a tutor or you could by books on it

There is no easy way regardless of what people say. If you want to play well then its practice practice and more practice.

Truly, the notes have to become as easy to read as the words on this page.

Then your playing will move forward and your teacher will be able to show you more advanced techniques.

The bottom line is : If you love the music then learning the notes is not a burden to you.

Go to a music store, and ask for EZ Play books. They have the name of the note written inside each note.

The more you learn and the more you practice... the easier piano notes are to read.
